The UN 2015 identified eight millennium goals in the areas of poverty, child mortality, and education. Photographer Sander Veeneman made photo documentaries in countries where the aims are not yet reached.
With the first8 initiative Veeneman attracted the attention of world leaders, captains of industry and everyone else and to make them aware of the urgent third world problems. His photography combined with personal questions played an important role on the site.
